We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in various welding techniques, including plasma cutting. As a Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and building of components, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a safe work environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Train and mentor team members on welding techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Oversee the assembly and building of components according to blueprints and specifications. Conduct regular inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize tools such as calipers and cranes for precise measurements and material handling. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting safety training sessions. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to welding processes. Prepare reports on production output, quality control, and team performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a welding or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Familiarity with using measuring tools such as calipers for precision work. Ability to operate cranes and rigging equipment safely. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
