Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Fabricator with a Welding Supervisor designation for our small Fabrication Shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to assemble and rig components. The Welding Supervisor will ensure that all welding operations are performed safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

Oversee the welding process, ensuring proper techniques are used for various materials. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Operate forklifts and cranes as needed to move materials and finished products within the facility. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, always adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor within a small manufacturing setting. Proficient in reading blueprints & shop drawings. Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
