Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of welding techniques, and the ability to ensure high-quality production standards. This role is crucial in maintaining safety protocols while overseeing the assembly and fabrication of metal components.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team to ensure efficient operations. Train and mentor welders on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment usage. Oversee the setup and operation of welding equipment, including cranes and press brake machines. Ensure that all welding work meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute projects effectively. Manage inventory of welding supplies and materials, ensuring timely replenishment. Troubleshoot any issues related to welding processes or machinery.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CWB Certified Welding Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick). Familiarity with power tools, rigging, machining, and assembly processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a welding environment.

Pay: $30.84-$41.25 per hour
