As our

Welding Estimator/Project Coordinator

, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our fabrication division. This position combines technical estimation with client-facing coordination, offering the chance to work across diverse projects, from custom builds to niche installations. You'll be the go-to expert for pricing, feasibility, and scope.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and fabricators to clarify project scopes and timelines Provide technical insight and support throughout bidding and project execution Ensure all estimates align with current CWB standards and pricing models Track costs and assist in ongoing job costing and forecasting

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in welding estimation, preferably in custom fabrication or miscellaneous metals Valid CWB 47.1 Supervisory Certification (SYS) is required Strong knowledge of Canadian Welding Bureau standards and practices Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; CAD software is an asset Team-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
