Beclawat Manufacturing Inc. (Prelco Belleville) is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Welder

to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing high quality welding, both on finished goods and subassemblies, with approximately 95% of the work involving aluminum TIG welding. The ideal candidate has strong technical welding skills, and a commitment to producing precise, clean, and consistent welds to meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Job Duties



Weld products, both finished goods and subassemblies, as directed by the Production Manager Select the best equipment to weld specific materials (MIG/TIG) High level of accuracy when welding products Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) Lining up specific metal components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces Operating angle grinders and other tools Handling material such as Glass, Rubber, Metal Extrusions (Frames, Panels) Process materials as instructed, cutting, drilling, grinding, milling, sanding, etc. Crosstrain and assist in cutting and assembly departments as needed When production requires, safely operate machines within all department including Cut Saws, Mitre Saws, Band Saws, Punch Press, crimper etc. Gather material and assemble products as directed by the bill of material (BOM) Complete all required documentation accurately and on time Review work-in-process and finished goods to confirm that all aspects of the manufacturing process meet or exceeds quality standards Update job packages with actual materials used and any changes affecting labor or materials Ensure that all safety recommendations for the individual, the process, or the workplace are adhered to at all times

Job Requirements



Welding Diploma or equivalent or 6 years' experience in a related field Minimum 3-6 years of MIG & TIG welding experience, with preference given to candidates with aluminum welding experience Have or willing to obtain CWB ticket in aluminum and steel welding Must be able to communicate well in English (written and verbal) Skilled in operating various small power tools, etc. that would commonly be found in a job shop Ability to suggest change and various improvements Mechanical/Technical aptitude Ability to read and use calibrated measuring equipment such as tape measure, vernier caliper, angle protractor. Must have a high level of accuracy and a strong attention to detail Ability to work in a production environment and following all safety policies and procedures Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds + with a team lift
