Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of welding equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The Repair Technician plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality standards across multiple projects.

Duties



Perform repairs and maintenance on welding equipment. ie: mig, tig, stick, plasma, wirefeeders, dc motors and controls Utilize trouble shootings techniques common to the trade. Diagnostic equipment, multimeter, scope, insulation tester. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to execute precise repairs. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide repair processes. Measure components accurately with calipers and other precision tools for proper assembly or repair. Assist in assembly, disassembly, and installation of equipment in manufacturing or construction settings. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all repair activities. Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime across production lines or construction sites.

Requirements



Proven experience with mechanical repair, manufacturing processes, or construction environments. Strong knowledge of electrical components, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and assembly techniques. Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance is required Familiarity with machining operations, power tools, hand tools, multimeters, and schematics reading. Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to repairs. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring precision. Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in technical skills. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
