Mobile Phone & Electronics Repair Technician Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Mobile Phone & Electronics Repair Technician

to join our dynamic team in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in repairing mobile devices, tablets, and laptops, with strong knowledge of both

hardware and software troubleshooting

across platforms such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair

mobile devices, tablets, and laptops

(Apple & Samsung strongly preferred). Perform

microsoldering, board-level diagnostics, and component replacements

when necessary. Troubleshoot

software issues and operating system errors

. Replace defective parts such as

screens, batteries, charging ports, and cameras

. Provide knowledgeable

technical support and customer guidance

. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized repair station. Collaborate with team members to refine repair processes and ensure

high-quality service

. Stay updated on the

latest mobile device and technology trends

. Assist

retail sales and accessory recommendations

. Support daily operations including

inventory management, part ordering, and quality assurance testing

.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong knowledge of

Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems

. Experience in

hardware repairs and microsoldering

(board-level repair is an asset). Ability to read schematics and follow diagnostic procedures. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Previous experience in

electronics repair, field service, or technical support

preferred. Customer service skills with a

friendly, solution-oriented approach

. Retail sales experience is a plus. Ability to work

independently and in a team

in a fast-paced environment.
