Job Description

JOB DUTIES

Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions. Maintains welding specifications. Sets up and operates all welding equipment. May utilize different types of welding systems for different tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a technical degree and one (1) to four (4) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Knowledge of Chemistry and Metallurgy. Understanding of Electricity. Knowledge of basic computer programming. Strong attention to detail. Ability to Read Blueprints.

Manual Dexterity Physical Strength Physical Stamina Excellent hand-eye coordination Excellent depth perception Excellent fine motor skills Ability to lift 100 pounds Ability to carry 50 pounds
