Breakfast Cook

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, with a strong focus on egg-based items such as omelets, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, and benedicts, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Handle eggs with care, ensuring proper storage, cracking, and cooking techniques to maintain freshness and food safety standards. Follow established recipes and menu specifications while also contributing creative ideas to enhance our breakfast offerings. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, including proper storage of ingredients and adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of key ingredients, including eggs, and communicate any shortages or needs to management. Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques, with a focus on egg handling and breakfast cooking methods. Adapt to dietary restrictions and special requests, ensuring all guests have a memorable dining experience.

Skills and Qualifications:



Proven experience in breakfast cooking, with a strong emphasis on egg preparation and handling. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, particularly as they relate to egg storage and handling. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality. Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.08 per hour
