Job Description

Many guests learn about Lisa's Bridal from family, friends, co-workers and even other bridal stores. This is because of the great people we select to join our team. We hold our team members to the highest standards because our clients deserve the very best.

Above all, communications and teamwork are of the utmost importance in our stores. The stylist position entails four primary roles with critical elements within each role. In order to continue our leadership position as the foremost experts in bridal style we expect our stylists to perform the following duties.

General Tasks and Responsibilities:



Greet customers immediately upon arrival. Be familiar with day appointments to be prepared for customers. Recommend, select and help locate the appropriate merchandise for all customers. Assist customers with the dressing and/or ordering process. Answer customer inquiries regarding the store and merchandise. Receive and process cash or debit/credit payments, we do not accept cheques. Review contracts and packages with customers. Store purchases in the correct storage locations. Create and or maintain proper paper and electronic files for each customer. Create, maintain and confirm store appointments. Process orders, and payments within our software program BBL. Keep a detailed record of all customer conversations in notes on account in BBL. Recognize and monitor possible customer issues. Assist other consultants with their needs. Maintain a neat and tidy work space for customers and staff. Be knowledgeable of all designers and inventory. Stay up to date on store information including customer issues, vendors, alterations issues, discontinued merchandise, information regarding our competition, etc. Properly arrange and display merchandise. Be comfortable in measurements for all aspects of ordering. Keep up to date on trends across the bridal industry. Ensure excellent customer service on the sales floor. Make a note on the file of discounts allowed for future purchases. (Discount on Tuxedos, accessories, Mothers gowns. Any other job duties assigned by the manager or owner.

Service:



Celebrate with each bride and make her feel your excitement towards their wedding. Ensure a memorable guest experience through a warm, unique welcome, making a genuine connection, maintaining detailed notes on the bride files, providing personalized follow up via phone, emails and texts. Maintain stylish and professional appearance at all times per onboarding package guidelines. Exhibit a warm and professional attitude towards customers and teammates while providing exceptional customer service to all guests. Complete follow up promises to customers within 24 hours (quotes, emails, answer questions, etc.)

Sales:



Maintain a close ratio equal to or greater than 50% over any three month period of a time. Meet and exceed sales goals. Actively cross sell tuxedos, accessories and packages. Keep up to date on store policies and procedures. Accurately complete registration and sales paperwork. (adding prospects, creating appointments, processing sales, taking accurate measurements, maintaining inventory appearance, processing payments, closing tills and terminals, completion of daily duties in the reception binder. Maintain current knowledge of sales and promotions, payments and exchange policies, security practices, new inventory, and store calendar of events.

Cleaning:



Maintain a neat and tidy store appearance including but not limited to dressing rooms, racks, bathroom, lunch room, reception, small office, and presentation area. Clean the store daily. (Dust, Mop, Vacuum, Windows, doors and mirrors, bathroom, backroom) Help maintain inventory by spot cleaning and take care of needed repairs daily (bras, gowns, headpieces, veils, and gowns) Ensure all gowns have hanger loops and all necessary additions for hanger appeal such as hanger loops, strap hanger elastics, and train loops to ensure the entire train is off the floor when hung.

Teamwork:



Helping others put away their gowns when you are available. Pulling gowns for your team members when you see they are busy and have upcoming appointments. Ensuring the store is ready for the day and presentable. Not standing at reception waiting for a customer or congregating while others are with customers. Not congregating in any area of the store.

Misc:



Identify and attend networking and bridal/industry events (as requested) Engage daily with clients and prospective clients through social media participation, sharing posts, and creating social media content for our store. Ask questions, make policy/procedure/process improvements recommendations. Come up with unique ideas to improve the customer shopping experience, increase sales, etc. Stay current on bridal trends and make suggestions for needed inventory in the store. Recommend ideas such as promotions for sales, social media, etc. Maintain a cheerful and professional attitude while engaging with fellow team members.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
