One of our telecommunication clients is looking for a Web/Digital Product Owner (Salesforce, Agile, JIRA)
Length: 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Vancouver , BC (Remote, with some team meetings in the office)
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/week

ROLE MANDATE:
As a Product Owner you drive the success of our digital experiences and manage end-to-end initiatives. You will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder teams across user experience, development, testing, analytics, and vendor partners. This is a highly visible role, working closely with other product managers, marketing, design, and IT teams across the business.

ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

  • Understanding the product's vision and scope as well as the business outcomes and customer problems we are trying to achieve to ensure that a customer centric approach is considered, and the quality of work is optimal
  • Delivering on product management plans, define user stories and milestones, prioritize user stories, assess risk, and monitor and facilitate progress throughout the product lifecycle
  • Driving collaboration with cross functional team resources in delivering work in a lean way that builds trust, ownership, and accountability
  • Proactively work with the team to identify risks, prioritize them, and create plans to resolve in a timely manner
  • Be an advocate for our stakeholders to bring to life ideas that improve their experience within SalesForce
  • Solve complex challenges with a team of passionate business owners, rolling up your sleeves to develop and execute creative solutions
  • Creating, refining, and maintaining the product backlog, following changes in business priorities and according to business value
  • Support multiple cross-functional/community requirements, and leading the need to optimize the solution strategically across multiple business units while also building towards the longer-term strategy of converged digitization solutions
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
  • 5+ years' experience as a key member of a web/digital team leading the complete product/web development lifecycle from planning through to execution
  • Experience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery (lean, agile, and/or devops), with product management/ownership of customer facing products/application
  • Excellent system design sense, and interpersonal skills who has the ability to openly contribute ideas within a highly collaborative and cross-functional team
  • Experience with agile and/or lean start-up processes, minimum viable product, or agile approach to web development
  • Accustomed to an extremely fast-paced environment, requiring juggling of multiple deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
  • Experience with Salesforce.com development
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and knowledge of JIRA, QA practices
  • Technical or architectural experience with complex systems spanning internal, vendor, software, hardware
