We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity for a Web Specialist & Project Lead in the Digital & Visual Communications Department at our Bayview campus.



Hours of Work: Weekday: Days; 8 hrs; as per schedule
Summary of Duties The Communications & Stakeholders Relations department at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a talented Web Specialist & Project Lead with the ability to handle all things web. The ideal candidate will be able to action various web requests as well as act as a project lead to facilitate and workflow web-related requests. Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and maintain various websites (HTML, CSS)
  • Design and implement page layouts, visual content, and graphical elements
  • Project lead; facilitate, action, and workflow web requests
  • Liaison with internal clients/stakeholders on web-related requests
  • Perform web updates using various content management systems (CMS)
Qualifications/Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining websites
  • 3+ years leading web-related projects and working directly with clients
  • UX web design & design principles
  • Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS
  • Familiar with multiple Content Management Systems
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator or equivalent
  • Knowledge of web analytics
  • Understanding of AODA and WCAG 2.0
  • Experience with email marketing tools - Familiar with SEO best practices
  • Experience with web and social media ads is an asset
  • Knowledge of JavaScript is an asset
  • Familiarity with web hostings environments is an asset
  • Knowledge of server-side languages (i.e. ASP, PHP) is an asset
