The Web Development Specialist will act as a technical expert and strategic collaborator, providing guidance on user experience (UX), accessibility, privacy, cloud deployment, and operational excellence.

Web Application Design and Development; Requirements Gathering and Documentation; Project Coordination and Management; Training and Change Management; Implementation, Migration, and Testing Support; Maintenance and Continuous Improvement; Strategic and Transformational Projects

Must Have Skills:

Must have hands-on experience developing and maintaining Word-Press websites, including the creation of custom themes and plug-in.

Must possess a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, with demonstrated ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize web applications.

Must have experience designing responsive web interfaces and applying UX principles in accordance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) to ensure inclusive user experiences.

Must be familiar with cloud hosting environments, DNS configuration, and automated deployment practices, ensuring efficient and secure web application deployment.

Must have knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance requirements relevant to government web services and demonstrate ability to apply these standards in all development activities.

Must have proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively across multiple environments and platforms.

Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst specializing in website development and maintenance.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
