Position Details

Role

: IT Specialist - Web Development & Maintenance

Type

: 3-month project contract (convertible to ongoing part-time)

Location

: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Toronto

Compensation

: Negotiable, milestone-based payment with launch bonus
Responsibilities

Develop, test, and launch a new website (front-end, back-end, and CMS setup) Maintain daily data, membership, and course modules with regular backup and security updates Optimize performance and SEO for better speed and mobile experience Collaborate with marketing and design teams for content updates and technical support Create operation manuals and technical handover documentation
Requirements

Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiar with at least one backend or serverless solution (Node.js, PHP, Python, or Firebase) Experienced with WordPress, Wix, Webflow, or Next.js/React Knowledge of MySQL/Firestore and access control Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Assets

: Experience with payment/booking systems, SEO, GA4, or Looker Studio reports

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
