Your role and tasks

Index is growing its team and looking for a Web Designer. Acting as a key player within the team, this person will be responsible for the creation and integration of web designs for Index's client and internal projects. Their role will be to add value to Index's service offering by creating innovative graphic designs that focus on improving the conversion rate.

• Undertake front-end development (design and integration of an Artificial Intelligence product)
• Participate in the graphic design of online ads, websites and events related to various projects
• Create and conceptualize the design of websites, mobile applications and microsites in accordance with the company's mandates
• Optimize software ergonomics to increase conversion rates
• PSD integration with the latest versions of HTML/CSS
• Add client-side interactive features (Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, React)
• Design all the graphic elements of the agency's mandates (presentations, mock-ups, images, etc.)
• Respect the timelines, deadlines, and budgets set for each project
• Execute graphics for printed material
• Contribute to the company's research and development activities
• Ensure quality control (QA)
• Contribute to creativity sessions
• Get involved in teambuilding activities

Qualifications required for this position

• Valid work permit for Canada
• Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing and advertising
• Excellent knowledge of design softwares (Photoshop, Adobe)
• Proficiency in programming languages (HTML/CSS, Javascript)
• High familiarity with the web environment
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• In-depth knowledge of the Google suite
• Bilingualism (French and English)

• Ability to work both independently and in a team, and to multitask several projects at once under tight deadlines

What will set you apart

• Google Certifications, Facebook Blueprint and other certifications
• University or college studies in graphic design, multimedia integration or a related discipline
• Basic knowledge of web marketing (Google Ads, SEO copywriting, social media)
• Product development
• Photography and/or video editing skills
• Mastery of PHP programming, databases and/or React & ReactNative framework
• Experience in graphic design for web marketing
• Passion for the Web and new technologies
• Familiar with the agency ecosystem
