Summary
Typically the first person onsite, you become the face of the organization during a time of need. Attending to these emergency situations you proactively limit damage and mitigate loss following IICRC protocols. We are looking for a positive, hard-working individual and are willing to provide Water Technician training to candidates who successfully pass their probationary period (3 months).
Core Competencies
Competent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of restoration principals, IICRC, The Clean Trust, and other industry remediation protocol's.
Provide customer service in a time of need.
Able to multi task and assess priority in difficult situations.
Job Duties
Use acceptable IICRC practices in all aspects of structural drying
Ability to assess and implement procedures that will expedite the drying process.
Working knowledge of mediation equipment operation and placement.
Manages onsite emergency response activities, including pumping water, clearing carpet, removing drywall, mitigation, etc.
Sets up deodorization, negative air, ozone, thermo-fogging and related equipment on site.
Responsible for the monitoring of temperature, humidity, and GPP readings.
Upload detailed water sheets from the site daily.
Completes and submits timesheets for all jobs.
Ensures all health and safety protocols are being implemented and followed.
Assists with content handling, pack out, and documentation following company procedures as required.
Requirements
Previous restorations experience an asset.
IICRC or equivalent certification in Water Damage Restoration.
Valid driver's license.
Bondable
Able to work on a on call schedule
Ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions
Ability to drive and visit projects covering a vast geographical area.
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
