What You Will Do
xc2xb7 Provide up to date communication and photos to Production Manager regarding status of work
xc2xb7 Determine category of water loss
xc2xb7 Extract water using truck mount and portable pumps
xc2xb7 Assist in determination of non-restorable building components
xc2xb7 Assist with demolition of non-restorable material
xc2xb7 Set up drying equipment as per established procedures
xc2xb7 Monitor drying process and adjust equipment as required
xc2xb7 Work within on On-Call rotation for after-hours emergencies
What You Have
xc2xb7 Water Restoration Technician Certification (considered an asset)
xc2xb7 Clean Criminal Record Check
xc2xb7 Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract
xc2xb7 Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck
xc2xb7 Ability to lift industrial fans 30-40 lbs
xc2xb7 Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers 75-100 lbs
xc2xb7 Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
xc2xb7 Safely use power tools and hand tools
xc2xb7 Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning (considered an asset)
xc2xb7 Ability to communicate effectively in English
xc2xb7 Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
xc2xb7 Ability to empathize with clients/customers who have experiences loss of personal property
