Date Posted: 2023-02-02-08:00 Country: Canada Location: LOC13049 1400 South Service Road West,Oakville,Ontario,L6L 5Y7,Canada Position Role Type: Unspecified SUMMARY Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Warranty Associate (Remote) who will directly be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of warranty processing from warranty claim receipt through to warranty disposition, along with campaign allocation and management, through to customer support of material. This role is also responsible for determination of liability and cost recovery from Suppliers. This role serves in a Remote capacity. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Warranty fleet campaign support and tracking. Ensure designated proprietary campaigns are supported with the material issuance, repair support. Track and report monthly on campaign status.
  • Administration of customer requests for warranty consideration for Regional and Commercial programs.
  • Evaluate and adjudicate warranty claims in conjunction with other team members comprising of Engineering, Technicians, Quality, Procurement, Customer Administration, and others.
  • Review and analyze Customer Warranty repair requests/claims to ensure compliance with the contract terms and conditions and for accuracy and relevance of information provided to properly adjudicate warranty.
  • Preparation and release of Warranty Orders and Credit Memos
  • Liaison with the customer and explain both verbally and in writing the results of the warranty investigation.
  • Assist in the negotiation with customers with regards to warranty disputes and cost approvals
  • Administer Warranty Findings Reports from supplier.
  • Evaluate Customer contract warranty compared to supplier warranty and ensure that claims are flowed to suppliers where applicable.
  • Perform analytical analysis of warranty cost to support specific reserve whitepaper proposals and supplier cost recovery.
  • Other duties to support the Aftermarket Team may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
  • Travel required 20% internationally and domestically.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Typically requires:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Successful candidates must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP
PREFERRED QUALICATIONS
  • Experience in Customer/Warranty Administration in Aerospace Repair and Overhaul or Manufacturing
  • Experience with negotiation & problem-solving
  • Experience with SAP or other similar ERP system
  • Excellent math skills and display a proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access as well as SAP.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints/repair and overhaul manuals & a strong technical knowledge an asset.
  • Negotiation & problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
