Job Summary OVERVIEW

• The Warehouse worker supports the company by providing exceptional customer service, following procedures on inventory controls, ensuring the workplace is maintained so safety of co-workers and efficient shipping and receiving processes meet company policy and regulations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Completes deliveries by driving truck to and from vendors and/or customers.
• Maintains trucks by completing preventive maintenance requirements; addresses any performance issues with the foreman.
• Maintains inventory controls by following all company shipping and receiving procedures; is involved in inventory counts on an as needed basis.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to the team effort by providing positive recommendations and addresses any areas for improvement with the warehouse foreman.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type / Category Huron Alloys is a local distributor of Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Nickel Alloy products. We are looking to fill a Full-time warehouse worker position. Hours of operation would be from 8:00am - 4:30pm as well as occasional overtime. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry Skills, Dependability
• DZ Drivers licence would be an asset
• Past warehouse experience an asset
• Industry experience an asset
