G-P Distributing is a locally owned and operated food service distributor that has been servicing the Yukon, NWT and Northern BC for 25 years. Position: Warehouse Worker G-P Distributing is hiring Warehouse Staff. This is a fast paced, physically demanding role that is involved in the efficient handling of products to our customers and in our warehouse. Job Type: Warehouse Class: Full-time (37.5hrs) Hourly Pay: $18 per hour Hours of Work: Varied Shifts and schedules NOC Code: NOC 6622 Key responsibilities
- Quickly and Accurately pick, pack and label customer orders
- Perform general warehouse activities including loading and unloading of transport trucks
- General warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance and repairs
- Quality Control of Products while picking paying particular attention to damaged, poor quality or expired product
- accomplish the objectives set out by the Operations Supervisor
- Ability to work well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment
- Self-motivated
- Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to comfortably lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must carry a valid class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations
- Past work experience in a warehouse and/ or food service environment an asset
