Job Title Warehouse Supervisor - Day/Afternoon Shift



We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Supply Chain Canada Logistics team in Markham. This role will start as Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) and eventually be moved to the afternoon shift (3:30pm to 12am).

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Supervise employees in a union environment.

Responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving activities.

Drive process improvements to optimize warehouse capacity, reduce handling, increase productivity & inventory accuracy, and decrease costs.

Evaluate and report on warehouse KPI\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x93 productivity, shipping accuracy, on-time shipping, receiving.

Communicate and coordinate with other departments, customers, suppliers and carriers.

Maintain standards of health, safety and security.

Your qualifications

Preferably a College Diploma in Business Management with focus in Logistics Management and/or the equivalent in experience.

Minimum 1-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Distribution Centre operations

Experience with ERP preferably SAP.

Experience in a unionized environment.

Proficiency in Excel and MS Word

Strong communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
