Warehouse Staff

Charlottetown PE

AWL Forest Products Is looking for self-motivated, team-oriented Warehouse staff in our Charlottetown PE Office location.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Warehouse staff is responsible to the Warehouse Foreman for helping maintain service to customers.

• The Warehouse/Yard staff loads and unloads materials and stores them in the proper location
• Greet and service customers in the warehouse and yard.

Pick and pack product orders.

Load and unload product on/off various trailers and trucks.

Focus on safety at all times

Ensure the warehouse and yard is always clean and tidy

Delivery work.

If licensed operate forklifts & delivery trucks (Class 3A) •Not mandatory

Follow any other duties as requested by supervisor.

Follow all COVID-19 Safe work protocols.

Qualifications:

• Physically able to do labor work
• Work outdoors or in a warehouse 95% of the time
• Customer service focused
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good team player that works well with others
• Strong communication skills written, verbal and listening
• Alert and safety conscious 100% commitment
• Able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to or from the warehouse / yard and trucks
• Have working knowledge freight loads and securing cargo
• Have knowledge of lumber, building materials and related products an asset but not mandatory
• Forklift certification
• Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• Class 3A an asset but not mandatory
• Good manual dexterity
