The position

The Receiving and Inventory Attendant reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the receiving and inventorying of all incoming and outgoing products.

This is a permanent, full-time position working from our Canmore, Alberta workshop from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

What you\'ll be doing

• Ensure all inventory and receiving procedures are carried out in accordance with Rocky guidelines and quality requirements
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, equipment, and workshop
• Safely operate forklifts, maneuver pallet jacks, or manually handle various types of inventory, including packaging, labels, product ingredients and finished products (e.g., jugs, large barrels, boxes, bottles etc.)
• Manage and greet incoming deliveries, ensuring prompt and accurate product delivery

• Forklift experience is required
• Previous work experience as a Receiver in a workshop environment is an asset
• Capable of handing physically demanding work and must be comfortable lifting and handling weight up to 50lbs (23kg)
• Goal/task-oriented with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, self-motivated, self-starter
• Intermediate reading and writing comprehension of English
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to learn and adapt easily to new methods
• Competent in basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Ability to work highly scented environment
• This position entails both indoor and outdoor work and temperatures fluctuate depending on weather conditions
