- Proper and accurate handling, distribution and storage of company products.
- Participate in company-sponsored training relating to material handling, safety and quality.
- Prepare and label shipments and all other documents pertaining to shipments
- Maintaining accuracy of all incoming/outgoing shipments
- Phoning couriers, tracking shipments and receiving stock.
- Ensure all cash sales being shipped are completed prior to leaving warehouse
- Unpack incoming goods and ensure there are no damages
- Recording damage notes on waybills and informing supervisors
- Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area
- Other duties as required
- 1-year experience in similar role
- Valid drivers license.
- Raw Material Organizing and Tagging Forklift experience is an asset
- Previous work experience working in a paint or chemical manufacturing considered an advantage
- Must have excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lb regularly (must have)
