Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems, heavy lifting, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or cranes while adhering to safety protocols Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and efficiency Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and other machinery such as cranes as needed Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems like AS400 Assist in shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of goods Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials or products throughout the warehouse Support manufacturing processes by handling raw materials or finished goods Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines

Skills

Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 or similar platforms Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus Knowledge of packaging techniques for shipping products securely Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Good organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
