We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Operator to work at our Blackfalds location on a
contract position for a minimum of 4 months
. This position is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Our ideal candidate is a hard worker with strong teamwork skills and high attention to detail.Responsibilities:
Make chemical blends using scales and pumps Clean tanks, totes and drums Move and organize totes and drums Labeling/repackaging product Quality checks to maintain quality control Bench test samples Shipping and receiving Keep work area tidy and clean (tools, pumps, lab samples) Diligent with paperwork (BOLs, receiving forms etc.) Climb tanks and work inside tanks Deliver and pick up packaged product and/or equipment Transfer product with pumps and compressors
Requirements:
Valid driver's license is required Chemical blending experience is an asset Must be mechanically inclined Comfortable with technology Experience operating forklift Clean driving record, a driver's abstract will be required Ability to follow safety standards Able to lift over 50lbs, medium to heavy lifting is sometimes required Confident working from heights and in confined spaces Confined spaces, fall arrest, H2S Aware or Alive and First Aid tickets would be an asset (not required)
