Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols. Prepare orders for shipping by picking, packing, and verifying items Conduct stock stocking activities and maintain organized storage areas to optimize space utilization. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including documentation, labeling, and inventory updates. Support warehouse supervision by adhering to OHSA standards and mechanical safety guidelines during all operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control and stock rotation practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with mechanical knowledge of packaging and materials handling equipment. Experience with order picking & packing processes, shipping & receiving procedures, Knowledge of OHSA safety standards related to warehouse environments; commitment to maintaining a safe workspace. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order fulfillment tasks. Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, lifting heavy items, and performing manual labor as needed.
