We are currently recruiting a

Warehouse Operations Supervisor

to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining open communication with warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments, tracking metric volumes within the warehouse, balancing inventory levels, and more.

Role Responsibilities:



Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and meet demand. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve workflow and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Lead, train, and support warehouse staff; provide guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations. Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to align warehouse operations with business goals. Resolve operational issues, including equipment maintenance and inventory discrepancies. Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, goal progress, and operational challenges. Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution. Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes. Manage warehouse budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Facilitate effective communication between warehouse teams and other departments. Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment to enhance productivity. Develop and implement emergency response plans for warehouse incidents. Oversee onboarding and training programs to build employee capability and knowledge. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align warehouse operations with broader company objectives. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance and improvements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations. Effective supervisory and team leadership skills. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data. Hands-on and proactive approach to daily operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate warehouse activities. Strong organizational and time management capabilities. Experience in optimizing warehouse operations and driving efficiency. Knowledge of inventory control best practices and warehouse layout strategies. MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification for counterbalance and reach trucks is preferred. This position will support two warehouses located in Vaughan. Must be able to spend the majority of each shift actively present on the warehouse floor, providing hands-on supervision and support to warehouse staff.
