We are looking for a F

ulltime Warehouse Manager

to provide oversight of our warehouse located in

AJAX

to support our 5 busy retail locations and service/ installation crews.

A warehouse manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. They manage staff, maintain inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving, and implement safety and productivity standards. Key responsibilities include inventory management, staff supervision, safety compliance, and optimizing warehouse layout and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:


Ensuring accurate inventory levels, implementing inventory control procedures, and optimizing storage space.

Staff Management:


Supervising warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Shipping and Receiving:


Overseeing the receipt of goods, storage, and dispatch of products to customers, and managing logistics for efficient delivery.

Safety and Compliance:


Ensuring a safe working environment, implementing safety procedures, and complying with relevant regulations.

Operational Efficiency:


Optimizing warehouse layout, workflows, and processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Equipment Management:


Overseeing the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and other machinery.

Reporting and Analysis:


Maintaining records of warehouse activities, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and reporting on key performance indicators.

Communication and Collaboration:


Maintaining effective communication with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service.

Required Skills:

Leadership:


Ability to motivate, supervise, and direct warehouse staff.

Organizational Skills:


Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a well-organized warehouse.

Problem-Solving:


Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory, logistics, and personnel.

Communication Skills:


Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills:


Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and other relevant technologies.

Experience:


Min 5 years of previous warehouse supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:

French not required
Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
