Distribution Warehouse Manager

About the Role:

Based on-site at our Calgary Head Office and distribution warehouse.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day to day warehouse operations and distribution for incoming and outgoing product needs. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow your career in warehouse distribution and management while working for one of Canada's largest Consumer Electronics Retailers. You will work closely with the Retail Stores, E-Commerce and Operations team and will facilitate, Customer orders and retail distribution to drive the continuous improvement of on-site experience and support the growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team members by providing clear communication, direction, support and follow up to ensure accurate and timely execution of all warehouse operations.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance and promote a culture of safety with employees.
• Consistently seek to improve productivity and implement processes to minimize errors.
• Set goals and priorities for the warehouse team to enable accurate, efficient, and timely task completion
• Execute daily physical tasks while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Certified Forklift Driver
• Support the Distribution team with analysis, reporting and ad hoc tasks.
• Accommodate evening and weekend work as required
• Manage Inventory control and ensure inventory compliance is within acceptable limits
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Post-secondary in a related field preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast agile environment and dealing with change with a positive attitude.
• Fork Lift Certificate
• Current First Aid Certification
• 1-2 years experience working with Warehouse Operations or Distribution
• 1-2 years experience working in Retail preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in management or a supervisory role preferred
• Solid team player, great communication skills, continuous willingness to learn
