: The expectations for this role are to manage our warehouse operations to improve our fulfillment capabilities. The role will combine strategic planning, operational excellence, impeccable customer service, and leadership to enhance our company's effectiveness and nurture our team's potential. You will be expected to balance supervising staff, filling labour gaps, and completing administrative duties on top of strategic planning, development, and execution.
Responsibilities:
Manage warehouse facility for company and operate daily activities within the department
Conduct performance evaluations
Maintain appropriate staff levels, hire and train staff
Maintain showroom for the products
Schedule and assign tasks to optimize workflow
Optimize warehouse efficiencies and implement warehouse layout plans
Prepares, implements, and ensures adherence to all Warehouse processes and procedures
Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
Manage and lead a team of 20 employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, upper management, and external stakeholders.
Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making.
Champion the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain management, Operations Management, or related field.
Proven experience in operations management, particularly in warehouse operations.
Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on team building and people management.
Familiarity with ERP systems and technological integration in business processes.
Excellent communication skills, reflecting our transparent and authentic culture.
Warehouse management system: 3 years (preferred)
