Evening Shift:

Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Job Summary:



The Warehouse Lead Hand will be responsible for the efficient and timely processing of customer requests for orders, receipts, inventory control and production of products according to established procedures, following and enforcing all safety protocols and workplace policies.

Job Duties:

Perform all warehouse operator's tasks and duties Direct nightly activities for the warehouse team Train and support new warehouse team members Maintain inventory of on-site products Ensure the physical inventory is accurate, perform random audits on inventory Maintain a clean, organized workplace by implementing daily housekeeping habits Report on facility and equipment maintenance to the Warehouse Supervisor Communicate policies and processes to warehouse team Provide clear, efficient communication of daily activities to both the warehouse operator team and Warehouse Supervisor Perform data entry and administrative tasks as required Interact minimally with customers and suppliers as needed Maintain forklift checks and forklift checklists Serve as Key holder; secure and lock the site at the end of each shift Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge:

Minimum 1 -3 years' experience required in a leadership role in a warehouse or similar environment Minimum 3 years' experience required driving counterbalance forklifts Demonstrate good organizational skills Know how to work safely and demonstrate this to all colleagues Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Able to work in a team environment that is constantly working towards improving processes and procedures Strong communication skills required to communicate effectively with warehouse & logistics team Strong understanding of company policies and procedures Able to identify hazards and work towards rectifying them Familiarity with TDG requirements preferred Knowledge of AWSA and Crop Life an asset

Working Conditions

Fast paced environment Able to lift at least 50lbs Ability to work outside in any weather conditions Overtime as required Able to identify any health and safety issues
