Job Summary

Reporting to both the Site Supervisor and Regional Manager, this role offers valuable experience as a warehouse laborer. As a warehouse laborer, you will learn and support inventory tracking, maintenance, ordering/picking inventory and delivery processes. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of personnel in both field and warehouse settings.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Attendant

Receive gear from site drop-offs and retailers. Order and deliver required gear for projects. Organize and communicate with relevant stakeholders for gear allocation. Pick and order gear and/or equipment for projects. Purchase and stock consumables based on inventory needs. Organize and clean the warehouse and compound daily. Coordinate with relevant personnel to pick up and drop off gear and/or equipment. Track and maintain inventory utilizing a mobile application. Assist with the tracking of rentals on job sites and ensure returns for cost-effectiveness. Test, clean, and maintain all gear and equipment for proper functioning. Document and track all repairs completed on tools and equipment. Assist with other relevant projects or assigned responsibilities as needed. Complete daily hazard assessments and weekly inspections.

Profile Requirements:

Experience, Skills & Competencies

1-2 years of experience in a warehouse role preferable in a similar industry Prior construction and/or hazardous materials experience considered an asset Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually. Team player Valid driver's license is required Must be able to obtain trailer endorsement

Physical Requirements:

Expect long periods of standing. Site visits and travel will be required. Use of a respirator and tyvek suit as required. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs unaided. Operate machinery such as mini excavator (occasional). Must be able to tow trailers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
