WAREHOUSE - INVENTORY COORDINATOR
.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this position is responsible for storing, recording, issuing and organizing materials received, as well as monitoring stock levels and performing inventory count duties. It followsthe material process from daily receiving to release, ensuring full kits are available for production. The position summary is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.
Receive material from the Shipper Receiver
Daily receiving of material and updates inventory records for all items in the warehouse
Organize and store material to be easily identified and accessed
Use computer system to track inventory items received and issued to production
Identify MRO parts to be ordered from requisitions and shortage reports
Expedite materials and prepare kits for fabrication and assembly
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
Prepare accurate and complete inventory documentation
Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate tracking of material
Verify, trace and report on incoming and outgoing material
Provide back-up support to shipping as required
Operate motor vehicles and material handling equipment
ATTRIBUTES WE SEEK
Previous experience in warehousing practices and computerized inventory control systems
Experience in receiving and shipping in a manufacturing environment
Organized and have an attention to detail
Computer skills to record and track inventory
Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
