Position Overview



The Warehouse Inventory Associate is an

entry-level, operations-first role

supporting warehouse, inventory, and stockroom systems, with

store support responsibilities

as needed. This position requires comfort working across multiple environments, including the Advance store, on-site stockrooms, and periodic work at the Hagersville farm location.

This role is hands-on and physically demanding. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow and uphold company systems and standards.

and expanded responsibility upon successful completion of a

3-6 month probation



Principal Goal



To support smooth operations through accurate inventory handling, maintained stock levels, and clean, safe, clearly organized stockrooms that are easy for all employees to use.

Core Responsibilities - Operations & Inventory



Stock shelves in front picking areas, back stockrooms, and packing areas Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across all warehouse and stockroom spaces Assist with inventory management in stockrooms and containers, including receiving shipments and verifying counts Perform inventory spot checks to support accuracy between physical stock and Vend Assist with maintaining minimum and maximum inventory levels Follow established systems and procedures consistently Correct mistakes in the moment when they impact inventory accuracy or organization Escalate larger or recurring issues to the Operations Manager when appropriate Minimize open boxes and ensure proper storage at all times Maintain clear labeling and signage so all staff can easily locate products Support seasonal peak operations, including container unloading

Store Support Responsibilities



While this role is operations-focused, it also provides

store-side support

when required:

Picking, packing, and staging online orders Assisting with order processing and shipping Replenishing store shelves from back stock Supporting store operations during high-volume periods Providing basic product assistance to customers when needed
Customer-facing interaction is

infrequent

, but over time the successful candidate is expected to

take initiative

, build product knowledge, and confidently assist customers when appropriate.

This role may protect the integrity of their organized workspaces. Any conflicts or repeated issues must be reported to the manager on duty and escalated to the Operations Manager if further intervention is required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements



Maximum solo lift:

30 kg

Forklift use:

frequent Majority of shift spent on feet Regular use of stairs, ladders, and work in tight aisles Outdoor work required during container unloading in hot or cold conditions Extended shifts (10-12 hours) may be required on pre-planned container or farm days This role is physically demanding

Travel & Flexibility



Travel between company sites is required Competency in both warehouse and store environments is expected Farm (Hagersville) work occurs periodically and is planned in advance

Seasonal & Scheduling Requirements



Weekend and holiday availability required during peak periods: Victoria Day Canada Day Diwali New Year's

Required Qualifications



Valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean driving record

Warehouse experience required

Forklift and warehouse equipment experience required (training may be provided if needed) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working within structured systems and procedures Willingness to correct errors and uphold standards consistently Ability to think independently and communicate issues clearly Strong communication skills (verbal, email, phone, text) Physically capable of meeting job demands
