Position Overview

The

Warehouse Coordinator

is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and cold storage facilities. This includes maintaining inventory integrity, coordinating shipping and receiving, and supporting order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of leading others in a fast-paced, perishable goods environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inventory in coolers and dry storage, ensuring accurate stock levels and organization Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and quality of products Prepare and fulfill customer orders according to pick lists and shipping schedules Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively Maintain cleanliness, temperature logs, and food safety compliance in all storage areas Communicate with field and packing teams to ensure seamless product flow Update shipping/receiving records and complete required documentation Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers and internal logistics teams Perform quality control checks before shipping to ensure product standards are met Train seasonal staff on cooler procedures and safety practices as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience (agriculture or food industry preferred) Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and documentation Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting (Excel or inventory software) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of food safety protocols is an asset (training provided) Knowledge of Spanish is an asset but not necessary

Position Details

Full-time seasonal, 40 hours per week minimum Pay: $25-32/hr Monday to Friday, weekends as needed Location: Cache Creek, BC. Accommodations available
