Adfast is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk \xe2\x80\x93 Reception!
Reporting to the Intra-Logistics Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving goods according to the established procedures, transferring them to various departments, according to the daily requirements, and ensuring truck transport between various buildings.
Working Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, Day shift for the first couple of months, where hours may vary between 6:30am and 6:00pm, but will be fixed once determined. Open to night shifts for the next months, where hours may vary between 5:00pm and 2:00am. Status: Permanent Benefits: Group insurance, RRSP program
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Receiving Merchandises:
  • Unload trucks;
  • Check delivery documents, missing quantities, conditions of goods and refuse damaged goods;
  • Check items received in accordance with purchase orders;
  • Label goods if necessary;
  • Move merchandise to appropriate storage locations;
  • Notify buyers (if necessary) of arrival of goods;
  • Move documents from reception to the person in charge of data entry to the ERP system (On a daily basis at the end of the day).
Transfer of goods
  • Print requirements list daily
  • Prepare materials and bring them to the SS or Silicone production facilities according to the established schedule and according to the list of materials received each day and drop them in the appropriate locations;
  • Bring back materials from the SS production facility and place them in the appropriate locations;
  • Place materials returning from the Silicone production facility in the appropriate locations;
  • Drive motorized vehicles and operate accessories required to perform work;
  • Load, unload and handle the contents of one\xe2\x80\x99s vehicle using appropriate equipment and dispose of it as directed;
  • Handle, transport and use appropriate tools, equipment and materials, see their maintenance and cleanliness of the working area;
  • Any other related tasks as required.

Requirements:
  • Have a completed high school diploma;
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a related field;
  • Have a valid forklift driver license;
  • Ability to work physically for several hours;
  • Have good computing skills (Microsoft Outlook, Office);
  • Bilingualism required (French and English).

  • Disposition to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Have good knowledge of OHS;
  • Have good aptitudes and an interest in manual/physical work.
