Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver will play a key role in our operations by ensuring that furniture and appliances are safely loaded, transported, and delivered to customers and making sure the deliveries are completed accurately by adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work as part of a team to manage warehouse tasks and drive delivery vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Help with inventory counts and make sure all products are tracked. Restock the showroom with furniture and appliances. Keep the warehouse organized and ensure products are stored properly.

Loading and Unloading:

Assist with loading and unloading furniture and appliances from delivery trucks. Ensure items are packed and stored safely to prevent damage.

Warehouse Maintenance:

Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including dusting and moving items. Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

Customer Support:

Prepare stock for pick-up and make sure it's ready for delivery. Help the team provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries. Address customer complaints and try to resolve issues quickly.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety rules to keep the workplace safe. Stick to warehouse procedures to ensure efficiency.

Delivery Duties:

Load, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customers on schedule. Double-check orders before and after delivery to ensure everything is correct. Help unload products at customer locations and place them where requested. Inspect delivery vehicles before trips and report any issues. Complete necessary paperwork, such as customer signatures and delivery confirmations.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to make sure everything is packed and ready for delivery.

Skills and Qualification:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Class 5 Driver's License (not GDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, home moving, or related fields. Prior experience operating a 1-ton truck is a plus. Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods. Strong time management skills and ability to follow a structured delivery route. Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. Ability to handle basic paperwork and delivery documentation. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Adherence to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
