Job Summary

We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our furniture store team. This role involves assisting with warehouse operations, handling furniture, loading and unloading deliveries, and supporting store logistics. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to perform heavy lifting. A Class 5 driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities

Load and unload furniture and deliveries safely Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing furniture in the warehouse Pick and prepare items for customer deliveries or store floor placement Organize and maintain the sales floor, including moving and arranging furniture Assist with in-store furniture setup and display changes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and sales floor areas Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy lifting Support delivery, warehouse, and store staff with daily operations

Requirements and Experience

Previous warehouse or furniture handling experience is an asset Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work Class 5 driver's licence preferred but not required Good teamwork and time management skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
