FULL-TIME Warehouse Assistant, 2 Month Contract

Career Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant to join our Distribution Centre team located in Halifax, NS. Our ideal candidate is energetic and has a positive & collaborative 'can-do' attitude with great attention to detail. Those looking for a role where they can contribute and learn in equal measure will fit in well.

Responsibilities

General bin maintenance, including but not limited to, creating bins for items needing them, deleting old items, and creating labels Complete product breakdowns Ensure paperwork is processed accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a clean working environment, including but not limited to sweeping, breaking down cardboard, disposing of garbage, and cleaning and sanitizing stations Follow all DC standard procedures Understand and utilize computer resources such as AS400, Excel, and Microsoft Office Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are followed Demonstrate our company culture and values Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Core Competencies

High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate Warehouse experience is an asset, but not required - full training provided Experience using a Pallet Jack and Forklift is an asset, but not required - full training provided Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Enjoy a fast-paced environment Strong multi-tasker with solid attention to detail Positive and self-motivated Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions Proven track record of reliability and safety Thrive in a team setting and able to work independently Steel toed shoes required

Job Type:

Full-Time. Contract position ending January 9, 2026.

Schedule:

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required as needed to meet business needs.
