Job Description
My Baskets is a gift basket company that is based in Toronto. It was named as one of the top 400 growing companies in Canada within the span of 3 years by the Globe and Mail in its most recent Report On Business issue.
Warehouse assistant ( 1 month contract - 5 th December to 23 December) Some weekends. We paing weekends and overtime 50% more.
Duties & Responsibilities
1 years of previous warehouse experience (we prefer)
Packaging orders in boxes for shipping Flattening card boards and disposing them Building stock on pallets in a safe and logical manner Fill out basket containers Placing orders in correct staging areas Assisting others as necessary (other warehouse members, customers, or couriers in call area, etc.); This position involves heavy lifting. You must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs on a regular basis so you don't hurt yourself Perform other duties as assigned by management. Can operate a stalker/pallet jack is a PLUS! Able to stand up during most of the shift Able to use computers and other devices Legally able to work in Canada Reliable transportation to and from work Excellent English communication skills Capable of working safely at all times*

Physical Demands
The employee must stand and walk for an 8 hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs.
