Best known for its unique marketing channels, including multipacks, the company collaborates with cannabis brands that increase awareness and sales through innovative go-to-market strategies, integrated marketing campaigns and unique, trial-friendly product formats.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the execution of the annual sales plans to ensure alignment and achievement of sales targets for brands
Provide accurate sales forecasts and detailed, actionable and insightful reporting to senior leadership as required, including but not limited to tracking actual sales against forecasts, category market share and competitive analysis
Leverage third-party data along with retailer, consumer and sales team(s) feedback to increase new points of distribution in all markets for brands
Develop, manage and nurture relationships with category managers and decisions makers at Provincial retailers to uncover unique insights, drive new product listings and effectively manage existing product listings
Develop, manage and nurture relationships with head buyers and decision makers at key retail chain accounts to uncover unique insights, secure new points of distribution, drive new product listings and effectively manage existing product listings
Develop, manage and nurture relationships with independent owners and store managers by engaging directly in store to uncover unique insights, secure new points of distribution, drive new product listings and effectively manage existing product listings
Effectively structure and close "pay to play" data deals with key retail accounts that deliver profitable ROI, incentivize sell through from retailer to consumer and offer downside protection to the Company
Effectively lead, develop and manage internal sales team to achieve sales targets by increasing new points of distribution, managing existing points of distribution, leading product knowledge sessions and ensuring product sell through from retailer to consumer
Effectively manage external sales agency partner(s) to achieve sales targets by increasing new points of distribution, managing existing points of distribution, leading product knowledge sessions and ensuring product sell through from retailer to consumer
Effectively collaborate with marketing team to achieve sales targets, develop winning trade marketing strategies and execute trade marketing tactics
Appropriately champion and represent the brands
Appropriately champion and live the high performance Company culture: be scrappy, be objective, be thoughtful, trust the team and ensure continuous improvement
Must Have:
5+ years of sales experience
Sales leadership experience
Cannabis industry experience
