You and Your Job
As VP, Credit Analyst you will be responsible for all aspects of the credit product including underwriting, structuring, analysis, documentation, negotiation, industry research, financial modeling and ongoing maintenance of new and existing customers.
This role is instrumental in supporting our clients with their credit needs and managing associated risks. In partnership with the Relationship Manager and broader client coverage team, the Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for all aspects of the credit product including underwriting, structuring, analysis, documentation, negotiation, industry research, financial modeling and ongoing maintenance of new and existing customers.
Job Responsibilities
Market/business analysis, financial analysis (including sensitivity analysis projections) and structure analysis within the credit report.
Understanding all aspects of underwriting, approving and closing Corporate Lending transactions including ability to analyze risk and structure transactions.
Produce an independent, objective, high quality assessment of the credit risks and mitigants involved in transactions including preparation of high quality credit reports.
Work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers and other departments in achieving the Bank's goals. This includes planning and organizing your own work, using your time effectively, setting appropriate priorities, and anticipating business needs.
Responsible for monitoring assigned portfolio of clients; in depth client knowledge is essential for adequately identifying early.
Support business origination efforts with new and existing clients as part of the client coverage team.

To be considered for the Credit Analyst role, you must have:
Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
7+ years of relevant experience
Formal credit training at a major bank desired
Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess financial statements and understand and credit risk;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Teamwork and adaptability, especially in fast-paced, client-facing environments; and
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Financial licenses a plus
Ability to travel regionally and globally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: CAD $185,000.00 - $230,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank Canada employees, including healthcare benefits, employer registered pension plan contributions, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and possible discretionary bonuses.
