We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Vocal Teacher

to join our teaching faculty.

Responsibilities:

Teach private vocal lessons to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. Develop students' vocal technique, breath control, tone production, pitch accuracy, and musicality. Prepare students for school recitals, performances, auditions, and examinations (RCM or other vocal programs if applicable). Maintain accurate attendance, lesson notes, and progress updates in Arcadia's system after each lesson. Communicate with parents in a friendly and professional manner regarding student progress. Follow Arcadia's policies on cancellations, make-up lessons, and scheduling procedures. Arrive punctually and uphold Arcadia's standards of professionalism and student care. Participate in concerts or events organized by the academy.

Qualifications:

Formal vocal training (post-secondary music degree, conservatory training, or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of vocal pedagogy and healthy singing technique. Ability to teach multiple genres (classical, pop, musical theatre, etc.) is an asset. Prior teaching experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, organized, and committed to consistent weekly teaching hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
