Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocal Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Music education and a variety of skills to engage students of all ages. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Instructor will work with diverse groups, including children, adults, and individuals with special needs, providing tailored instruction in subjects such as photography, ballet, cooking, and more.

Must have some Piano experience

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards. Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive learning atmosphere for all students. Provide tutoring and individualized support to enhance student understanding and performance. Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum and share best practices in instruction. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians. Foster a love for learning through creative activities in subjects such as culinary arts, theater, dancing, sewing, and early childhood education. Can accompany your students on piano.

Experience

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring with a focus on classroom management and lesson planning. Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support. Skills in curriculum development related to various subjects including photography, cooking, ballet, or theater are advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues in an educational setting.
