3. Teach Vocal Techniques: Instruct students in vocal techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills, fostering their holistic musical development.
4. Foster a Supportive Learning Environment: Cultivate a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere that inspires creativity and self-expression among students.
5. Prepare for Performances: Prepare students for performances, recitals, and assessments, helping them shine on stage.
6. Monitor and Adapt: Continuously monitor student progress and adapt your teaching methods to ensure their growth and development.
7. Encourage Goal Setting: Encourage students to set and achieve musical goals, motivating them to reach their full potential.
8. Collaborate and Enhance: Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for our students.
9. Communicate: Communicate with the child's parents or guardians about their musical growth, progress, and areas of improvement. Encourage at-home practice and provide materials with which students can do so.
Qualifications:
1. Musical training of some capacity either through highschool or university. A Music Degree is not a requirement, but preference will be given to candidates who have one.
2. Proficiency in vocal instruction and performance.
3. A strong grasp of music theory and technical aspects related to vocal training.
4. Previous teaching experience, particularly with students of diverse ages and skill levels.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Patience, adaptability, and an unwavering passion for mentoring young musicians.
7. The ability to create captivating and effective lesson plans.
