Temporary Position - Maternity Leave Replacement Contract
Purpose of the role
The incumbent will assist the Visual Merchandising department by producing planograms and other strategic documents for our stores, with the aim of ensuring effective communication to maximize sales.
Job description
Develop planograms and other merchandising documents so that guidelines are clear and concise for our stores and ensure these documents are sent on time;
Develop display sequences each season and ensure they are distributed in accordance with established timelines;
Develop seasonal catalogs based on needs;
Adapt the Visual Standards Guide according to the evolution of our procedures to make sure guide is relevant and up-to-date;
Coordinate the printing and distribution of planograms and other visual documents;
Manage the distribution of reprinted signage through suppliers following store requests;
Maintain an organized and structured filing system for infographic files;
Participate in the selection and research of the components used for various documents;
Keep abreast of trends in visual presentation and store concepts;
Participate in all other special projects relating to visual presentation and/or marketing.

Organized and detail-oriented: You efficiently manage planograms, seasonal catalogs, and visual documents while meeting deadlines.
Attention to accuracy and clarity: You ensure visual standards and instructions are clear, up-to-date, and easy for stores to use.
Creative and trend-aware: You stay on top of visual merchandising trends and contribute to innovative projects.
Collaborative and supportive: You prepare and deliver materials that help store teams execute their tasks effectively.
Requirements
Professional diploma or equivalent in graphic design;
Minimum of one year experience in graphic design;
Ability to work under pressure;
Creativity
Strong sense of organization;
Ability to manage multiple projects at same time;
Rigor and attention to detail;
Team spirit;
Bilingualism, written and spoken - (The person will be working with stores all across Canada);
Good knowledge of the Windows environment;
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign;
Knowledge of retail (an asset).
