Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to patients, helping them manage and overcome various physical and emotional challenges. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with experience in a clinical setting.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their therapeutic needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Utilize EMR systems to document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. Educate patients about their conditions and the therapeutic processes involved. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment conducive to patient care.

Skills

Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Epic, for efficient documentation and record management. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapy practices. Experience in ophthalmology or optical settings is a plus. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to therapeutic practices. Previous experience in a medical office or clinic environment is highly desirable. Understanding of medical coding for accurate billing processes. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
