Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business.
  • Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizes systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate. Assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments.
  • Accurately prepares Requests for Proposals in a timely manner.
  • Maximize sales occupancy and rates in conjunction with hotel operations to increase profits.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, and industry events.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct site inspections and present proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a point of contact for clients during events and stays.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales experience.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality or Business Management is preferred. Must have selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training.
  • Proven performance achieving assigned sales productivity goals.
  • A strong working knowledge with the market\'s local corporate transient business accounts.
  • Upscale or luxury hotel experience is preferred.
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Availability to travel for tradeshows, conferences and development.
