Work closely and collaboratively across clinic leadership and serve as the \'HR expert\' across clinics
Proactively and thoughtfully address workplace and employee operations issues on an individual and systematic basis for clinics
Identify opportunities for retention of talent and innovate ways to celebrate and acknowledge our in-clinic teams and enhance Job Love
Oversee the administration and scaling of human resource programs including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, celebrations/recognition, morale; occupational health and safety
Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant requirements and regulations are up to date and achieved across clinics
Ensure materials are up-to-date and relevant to provide a seamless experience for the team in clinics
Help identify recruitment needs for clinics and support the hiring process
Manage benefits administration as well as HRIS platform for our clinics
Act as a facilitator, coach, and, most importantly, a strategic partner with the Practice Managers and the Clinic Operations team
Requirements
3+ years experience as an HR/People Operations professional with a growing and diverse workforce
Exposure to building out talent review and performance management programs
Prior experience managing an HRIS platform
Experience in a growth/start-up environment
Experience within the veterinary or healthcare industry considered an asset
CPHR/CHRL designation considered an asset but not required
